Cancellations & Refunds
All
orders canceled after 24 hours will be charged 30% towards re-stocking fees,
unless previously agreed otherwise. Special orders can be canceled after the 24
hour mark but your deposit will be kept for the production
of the item. When there is an agreement to make a refund, the wait is
10-14 days for it to be processed. It may be made by check or refunded back to
the credit card.
Delays in production and shipping may occur. THE SHIPPING TIMES WE QUOTES ARE ONLY ESTIMATED AND NOT GUARANTEED. Delays in production and shipping can not be treated as a reason to cancel or charge back the order with no exceptions. If a delay occurs, do not panic. We will work hard to get your purchase to you, but please keep in mind that we work with high-ticket and large items, which come from all over the world. In most cases, delays occur during busy seasons, holidays, due to production delays, or other factors not in our control. We will make all efforts to quote accurate lead times and notify all our customers promptly. Please note that we are not responsible for product delays from the manufacturer. Under no circumstances will Modern Interiors Plus, Inc. be responsible for any consequential damages resulting in shipping delays. Due to increased security by governments, customs delay may also occur, which is beyond our control. Also note that some of our Vendors remain closed during the months of August & December - all orders placed during this time period may be delayed by at least a month.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE
Receipt of an order number or an order confirmation email does not
constitute an acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell.
Modern Interiors Plus, Inc reserves the right, without prior notification, to
refuse service to any customer and/or to limit the order quantity on any item.
Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any
order. Shipping Time Please allow the lead-time for delivery depending on the
product type, color, model, manufacturer, and other factors. Please Note: THE SHIPPING TIMES WE QUOTE ARE
ONLY ESTIMATES, NOT GUARANTEES. When it
comes to order times we are depending on the factory, and freight carriers to
provide us with the estimated ship date. Some specialty furniture carriers use
third party carriers for some delivery locations, and are unable to provide up
to the minute tracking information that is common for small packages. Shipping
delays due to increased security by governments and customs delays may also
occur, which is beyond our control. If you are receiving a delivery by pallet
you can purchase an insurance plan ranging from $45-$75, depending on the weight
and size of the pallet.
Color, texture, and graining variations can occur in natural products like leather, wood and stone. These are not normally considered imperfections. For leather products all colors other than Black & White are bound to have variations in every production line. Color representations on computer terminals and screens can be different based on settings and various display technologies. You agree that you cannot dispute the finish, or color or texture or any other physical attribute after taking delivery of a product.

Order Confirmation
After
your order is completed, you will automatically be sent within 24 Hours an
"Order Confirmation" email to the email address you entered during checkout.
This email is your receipt - so don't delete it! We encourage you to review the
order and advise us of any spelling or numerical mistakes so that we can quickly
make any necessary changes.
DAMAGES
If
items are damaged, OR SUSPECTED TO BE DAMAGED, it must be documented with
Delivery company at the time of delivery. The delivery driver must wait while
you inspect. If the driver does not agree to wait, note this on the bill of
delivery, WHEN YOU SIGN accepting delivery. NOTE ON THE DELIVERY SLIP before you
sign your name, if the box shows any signs of damage on the outside. A few of
our manufacturers only make home deliveries that are "curbside"- meaning the
driver will not carry that package inside your home. In such a case, if you
suspect damage, note your concerns on the delivery slip, insist the package be
opened for inspection outside, and if the driver refuses, write it down on the
delivery slip and get copy - or refuse delivery. In all such damage are
potential damage cases, in order to support any potential claim for damages, you
must notify us within 3 business days by phone or email. Once you sign for the
delivery, we are not responsible for any damage, color or finish difference,
unless it is a special case.
SHIPPING AND ASSEMBLY
This Website neither designs, manufacturers or ships any of the
products offered or sold on this site, and as such, makes no representation or
guarantee about the safety of these products, or, in this case of self-assembled
items, about whether purchasers who receive such products will properly and
safely assemble these items. Product and assembly safety is solely and
exclusively the province and responsibility of the manufacturer, the purchaser,
and the shipper.
